U. S. Aircraft Registration   (7/27/2010)

The FAA recently published rules requiring re-registration of all aircraft over the next three years. Some aircraft must be reregistered as early as March 31, 2011 depending on the date of original registration. Additional re-registrations will be required on a three-year cycle. For more information, please see the FAA’s final rule. 
 
MyFBO.com has taken steps to help Subcribers comply. These steps will help to assure that your aircraft are always registered and your flights can continue uninterrupted. Subcribers requiring more information should contact support@myfbo.com.

Offline Card Processing   (7/6/2010)

MyFBO subscribers with the Online Credit Card Processing option now have the option to use a new Offline Card Processing feature. The new feature facilitates transactions for certain fuel cards for which online processing is not currently available. Secure storage of card data and the ability to queue tickets for processing in the office on a traditional credit card point-of-sale device are provided, allowing for easy entry of the results into MyFBO to maintain a consistent record of payments. 
 
The advantages of using Offline Processing are:

     
  • Ability to interface with old-fashioned point-of-sale devices
    •  
  • Support a wider array of payment options
    •  
  • Elimination of insecure methods of card data transmission (such as over Line Service Radio's)
    •  
  • Ability to view data on offline transactions in MyFBO Financial reporting
    •  
  • Ability to store customer payment information for transient fuel customers
    •  
  • Offline Processing can allow for a backup option if online processing is not available
    •  

Advanced Certificates   (5/21/2010)

The MyFBO.com System now includes an Advanced Certificates options. This new option allows subscribers to create custom certificate templates used to generate personalized Gift Certificates and Curriculum Enrollment and Graduation Certificates. The new option is easy to use while giving subscribers full control over the final product, displaying an actual size sample as you modify the certificate. Backgrounds, images, borders, watermarks, or logos, fonts, and colors can all be customized and personalized.

Part 141 Pass Rates   (5/17/2010)

Based on input from Subscribers Part 141 Pass Rate Reports have been enhanced in the system. Ensuring compliance with 141 80% rules can now be done with a couple short clicks.
